Culpeper Project

Forestry Mulching

For this project, we cleared the fence line using forestry mulching to efficiently remove vegetation while preserving soil health. If requested, we also provided pole saw and chainsaw services to trim tree limbs up to 12 feet high, with all debris mulched on-site. Our team ensured precise grading and site preparation, creating a clean, well-managed area ready for fence installation.

Culpeper Arena Construction – 60×120

For this project, we prepared and constructed a 60×120 arena with precision grading and stabilization. The process began with stripping and stockpiling topsoil before cutting, filling, and compacting the site to achieve a level surface with a 1% slope for optimal drainage. We then installed separation fabric across the subgrade, followed by six inches of compacted stone dust, fine-graded using laser technology for accuracy. Once the arena surface was complete, we respread the topsoil around the perimeter and stabilized the site with seed, lime, fertilizer, and erosion control measures to ensure long-term durability.

36-Inch Corrugated Metal Pipe Installation

We installed a 36-inch corrugated metal pipe to improve stormwater flow and create a stable vehicle crossing. The work included clearing and excavating the site, temporarily diverting the stream, preparing the streambed, and installing the pipe. We then backfilled with stone for support and finished the surface for heavy truck use.

Wire Fence Installation – 1,375 LF

Our team successfully installed 1,375 linear feet of wire fencing, supplying and setting all necessary fence line posts with precision. Using our own labor and equipment, we ensured a strong, secure installation, while the owner provided the fencing material. The project was completed efficiently, delivering a durable and reliable fence to meet site requirements.

65 ft Stone Dust Round Pen Installation

Our team constructed a 65-foot stone dust round pen, ensuring a level, well-drained surface for durability and performance. We began by stripping and stockpiling topsoil, then performed cut, fill, and fine grading to establish proper elevation and a 1% slope for drainage. A separation fabric was placed to enhance stability before installing and compacting 6 inches of stone dust using laser grading for precision. Finally, we reapplied topsoil, seeded, and stabilized the site, delivering a high-quality, long-lasting riding surface.

Concrete Pad Installation – Barn Entrance

We installed a durable concrete pad at the front of the barn, ensuring a stable and slip-resistant surface. The project began with grading and clearing debris, followed by placing and compacting a stone base for support. We then set forms and poured the concrete, finishing it with a heavy broom texture for traction. After curing, we removed the forms and added compacted stone around the edges to create a smooth transition and prevent erosion, providing a long-lasting and functional surface for livestock and equipment.

Stone Dust Installation – Barn Aisle Way

Our team installed 4 inches of stone dust in the barn aisle way and access area, creating a smooth, durable, and well-drained surface. We began by grading the existing base to ensure proper leveling before placing and compacting the stone dust for a stable and low-maintenance finish.
